About us
Towarzystwo Stargardzka Kolej Dojazdowa – Stargard Narrow-Gauge Railway Association
Who are we?
Towarzystwo Stargardzka Kolej Dojazdowa (TSKD), the Stargard Narrow-Gauge Railway Association, is a non-profit association founded on 27 January 2017 and registered in Stargard, Poland (National Court Register, KRS no. 0000651257).
Our mission is to protect the technical heritage of the railways – above all the Stargard Narrow-Gauge Railway – and to bring forgotten sections of this historic line back to life.
Since November 2020, TSKD has leased a section of the former line from Stargard to Małkocin. This laid the foundation for restoring rail traffic and protecting the historic infrastructure.
For now our activities are based on railbikes, but in the future we would like to see other rail vehicles running on the line as well.
Thanks to the work of enthusiasts, and in cooperation with Stargard County, the Stargard Rural Commune and the Town of Stargard, the association is actively working to repair the track, the platforms and the bridge over the River Ina.
In 2024, TSKD received a donation of rails from PKP PLK S.A. (the Polish railway infrastructure manager) to rebuild damaged sections of the route. Educational and leisure projects – such as railbike rides – bring history to life and make it accessible to local residents and visitors alike.
